Jun 2021

Hazelbrook Legal is delighted to announce that, once again, Principal Hugh Griffin has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards 2021 in four categories: Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Financial Services Law.

The Partner of the Year Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge and reward lawyers at the height of their careers, noting their outstanding achievements, leadership, technical expertise, mentorship, and business development skills. It bestows some of the industry’s most respected and sought-after accolades showcasing outstanding performance by partners, or partners equivalent, across individual practice areas within the Australian legal profession.

The finalist list, which was announced on 15 June 2021, features over 220 high-achieving partners within the legal industry, across 32 submission-based categories.

"This year the awards are more important than ever, highlighting and shining a spotlight on the top partners who lead the way in the business of law during a time of unprecedented change."

Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said: “The past year has produced extraordinary challenges for legal professionals of all stripes, perhaps especially so for partners and team leaders who have responsibility for navigating through choppy waters. To be a finalist for this year’s Partner of the Year Awards is an outstanding achievement.”

Hugh Griffin, Principal at Hazelbrook Legal, said that he was humbled to be recognised, and honoured to be named as a finalist once again in the Partner of the Year Awards 2021.

“This nomination is a recognition of Hazelbrook Legal’s unique approach and dedication to excellence in everything it does. It shows our commitment to building strong relationships with clients as well as the incredible talent and dedication of the Hazelbrook Legal team.” he added.
