Full Time Administration Assistant

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to support our growing team, as well as provide wider support to the whole team located in either the Canberra or Sydney office. This is an exciting time to be joining Hazelbrook and your work will be varied and interesting given the high calibre work undertaken, the genuinely good people that make up our team and the growing nature of the business.

Desired Skills and Expertise

We are looking for individuals who are excited and interested to learn and develop a career as a legal support professional. We are seeking individuals who are proactive, good at problem-solving, value discretion and who can be trusted to deliver high quality work. This role will suit individuals who have excellent attention to detail, who like to take responsibility for their output and who enjoy working in a fast paced, high-performing environment.

We provide extensive training for any incoming staff and the successful candidate will have key responsibilities in:

  • General administrative support including supporting matters or cases.
  • Document and contract production.
  • Document formatting, reviewing and finalising (including document protection) as well as transcribing
  • Diary and calendar management, including making bookings at venues and for travel.
  • Assist with general administrative duties for the wider team, printing, scanning and filing.
  • Prepare proposals, reviewing documents and drafting responses to clients.
  • Office administration assistance including:
    Ensure offices are stocked at all times with required items (stationary and groceries).
    Responsibility for maintaining neat and tidy office at all times.
  • Assist with billing tasks
  • Work closely with the wider support team to manage team deliverables.
  • Assist with other functions essential to the efficient running of matters.
  • Assisting with internal and external events including arranging venues, food, drinks, decorations, gifts and travel as required with oversight from supervisors. Internal events include birthdays, group activities, lunch and learns, offsites, Christmas parties.
  • Help support the CEO and Head of People with staff initiatives.
  • Understanding the IT systems and handling ad-hoc queries.

You will have:

  • A curiosity and enthusiasm to learn as well as a can-do attitude
