Annabel Griffin

Annabel is a pioneering legal operations professional and co-founder of Hazelbrook Legal. Annabel began her career in banking and finance, having worked in a range of roles internationally and domestically including debt capital markets, trade and supply chain, credit and credit risk and retail banking.

Annabel has a keen interest in the operation of law firms, and is passionate about business. She is constantly seeking better ways of doing things – in particular challenging the status quo of the way in which law firms operate and applying her strong service focus, entrepreneurial perspective and eye for detail to optimise business and client outcomes.

Annabel manages the key operational functions of the company including financial, strategic, risk management, human resources, technology & cybersecurity, property and marketing. Her role is pivotal in driving the business to where our staff can add the most value, ensuring clients' receive the best possible service experience. Annabel is also focused on the wellbeing of our people, and the team as a whole, ensuring team members receive the support they need.

Annabel’s entrepreneurial attitude, exceptional work ethic and non-legal background bring a truly unique dimension to Hazelbrook Legal.

As a culturally diverse leader and a passionate advocate for communities and people at risk, Annabel is a professional mentor for newly arrived refugees.

Annabel holds a combined Bachelor of Economics and Commerce from the Australian National University, and is a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society.
