The Opportunity

In this newly created role, Hazelbrook Legal is seeking a full-time team member to be based in our Canberra or Sydney office. In this role you will assist our leadership team (Managing Partner and CEO) with the smooth running of the firm by:

  • Acting as the point of contact for the leadership team
  • Handling correspondence directed to leadership team
  • Making travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries
  • Proof reading emails and other relevant correspondence and documentation.
  • Email inbox management
  • First point of contact for leadership team for internal matters
  • Producing proposals, reviewing documents and drafting responses to clients
  • Managing internal supplier arrangements, and engagements
  • Provide a broad range of HR support to the CEO including assisting to coordinate staff training and development and staff onboarding/offboarding
  • Assist CEO with updating, drafting and implementation of company policies
  • Personal diary management including coordinating meetings, managing calendars

In this role, you will work directly with the leadership team and be a critical support to a growing business performing work at the top end of town, with deals and clients regularly in the AFR and transactions with significant ramifications.

Preferred Skills and Expertise

We are looking for someone who is proactive, good at problem-solving and who can be trusted to deliver high quality work. This role will suit someone who enjoys working within a high-performing and rewarding work environment who has the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks and excellent time management skills.

Someone who is driven, has an excellent eye for detail and is interested in supporting the executive team to deliver high-quality work to our clients within demanding timeframes with professional discretion.
