Josephine Renfrey

Since joining Hazelbrook in 2019, Josephine has developed experience across a broad range of practice areas. These include corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financial services, and funds. Josephine has also made valuable contributions to matters that intersect multiple practice areas (for example, mergers and acquisitions in the financial services space). With a strong commercial focus and commitment to delivering clear and straightforward advice and drafting regardless of legal complexity, Josephine is passionate about creating trusted client relationships and understanding the broader context of a client’s current goals.

A native to Adelaide, Josephine is a graduate of the Australian National University where she completed a combined Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Josephine’s multi-disciplinary background provides refined analytical skills, and allows her to adapt to a variety of challenges and environments.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling (especially to anywhere with a decent beach), and visiting the National Gallery of Australia.
