James grew up between Canberra and the country, spending weekends and school holidays building fences and drenching sheep on his parents’ property near Ariah Park. Having spent several years living in Sydney and London, he moved back to Canberra in 2019 with a small family, and enjoys riding around Canberra’s many bike paths with his twin boys in tow.
James holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws from the Australian National University. James is admitted as a lawyer in both Australia and England & Wales, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
