Emalee brings a dedication and enthusiasm to learn to Hazelbrook Legal, and is passionate about developing positive working relationships to foster the best outcome for clients and colleagues alike. Emalee enjoys identifying and analysing both opportunities and risks for clients, and is particularly passionate about producing strategic advice that achieves a client’s goals.
Emalee holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology from Macquarie University, and has expanded her learning through studying Master’s level Business Law in a Global Context in Montréal, Canada. She has gained varied legal experience working across multiple practice areas, demonstrating her desire to learn, ability to adapt to new environments as well as the ability to think critically when approaching challenges.
Emalee is interested in language and effective communication, having studied linguistics and French, and has held roles of Editor-in-Chief of her university’s law society publication, and Policy Editor for Young Australians in International Affairs. These experiences honed her communication skills including her ability to adapt her communication style and content to varied audiences.
Outside of law, Emalee enjoys training in aerial dance and spending time travelling and exploring.
